Our employees are what truly make Northwestern Bank a great organization and place to work. We have some amazing people with different backgrounds and personalities who have a real passion for what they do: helping Northwest Iowans reach their financial goals. So, what better way than to spotlight a new NWB employee each month?

Meet Julia Kroeze

Julia Kroeze

What do you do at Northwestern Bank?

I have been at NWB for 25 years – I worked in Bookkeeping for 8 years, and 17 years as a Personal Banker.

What’s your favorite part about your job?

The relationships I have made with customers and co-workers. NWB has great customer service to meet all our customers’ needs.  NWB is also very involved in the community!

Are you a small-town girl or a farm girl?

Both -- I grew up on a farm west of Orange City, but have lived in Orange City for 25 years. I enjoy the small town feel and cleanliness of the town. The faith and values of our community are very important to me.

What do you like to do outside of work?

When I’m not at NWB, I enjoy reading, exercising, and spending time with my family by golfing with my husband and two kids.

Tell us something people might not know about Julia:

I am very competitive with anything I do ... I love to win! My NWB co-workers get sick of me winning everything.
